Ongoing Projects:

 

 Freshman class: Serving dinners at Shelter for the Homeless in Stamford, CT. Two Tuesdays each month.

                 Sophomore class: Visiting children at Kids in Crisis in Cos Cob, CT, every Thursday evening
               
Junior class: Tutoring at T. Edison School in Port Chester, NY, every Tuesday afternoon. Greeting Pre-                                 Schoolers each morning.
           
Senior class: Tutoring at Hamilton Ave School in Greenwich, CT, e very Wednesday.

                                Greeting Lower Schoolers every morning. 

 

Volunteer efforts: Midnight Runs, Pizza Sales, Bake Sales and Free Dress Days (several times a year)

Community Service related Brunswick USclubs and projects:

 

Key Club: students participate in most of the community service events, particularly in Midnight Runs and fundraisers.

 

BruinsRead:  students visit Head Start locations in Stamford and read books to preschoolers.

 

Brunswick Assists  students raise funds for various projects in Jamaica, and

Jamaica: often visit Jamaica in the summers.

 

Against All Odds:  students raise funds for cancer research.

 

Helping Hand: students help various non-profits in Greenwich/Stamford area.

 

Recycling Club: students and faculty facilitate recycling efforts at Brunswick.

 

China Care:  students raise funds to sponsor orphaned children in China, and make occasional visits to Chinese orphanages.

 

Bruins Care:  students and alumni send care packages to American servicemen in Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

Cycling: students cycle across several states to raise money for Kids in Crisis agency in Cos Cob, CT.

 

Amazon Colombia students raise funds to sponsor children in Colombia
